Forthcoming events ...

We hold three official meetings every month, a Workshop, Beginners class and a Lecture. The latter attracts a well-regarded speaker and lasts for one hour with time for questions afterwards, followed by coffee and a chance to talk with other members ...

ImageMarch and April updates ...

After an unusually cold Winter, which has brought us more than our usual quota of clear nights, we are hoping that the the days are now giving way to a similarly fair-weather Spring. Let's hope so!

Mars is still with us high in the evening sky, but Saturn is now becoming a very tempting target. Watch out for Venus too climbing higher in the West after sunset .

The following sections have been updated: This month's night sky and Forthcoming events.
