Weather watching is a wonderful past-time especially when it's combined with a beautiful vista. Here, heavy rain had not long since moved away and was being replaced by somewhat calmer conditions.

The gloomy scene began to burst into life as the Sun crept closer and closer towards Alderley Edge, which became silhouetted against the golden patchwork sky.
